Wonderful Weekend and Old Treasures

Wow, so an amazing Thanksgiving. Many have asked why, and I will just say, spending time with my girlfriends family, trip to Duluth for us to have dinner with my mom. And time for just us. She is very special and makes things in my life so much better and different. That is why it was so great.

Also, on our trip to Duluth I went to my storage shed, and picked up a bunch of random boxes of stuff, as well as a box from my mom. Unpacking them was very many visions of my history, cards and letters from friends, artwork from myself and friends. Toys and books of the past and all of my stuff from High School Graduation. Amazing. I had two boxes set aside, one for things to toss in the trash, another of things to donate to a salvation army or goodwill.

I also ran across a lot of things that my be worth quite a bit. Like a collectors special edition hot wheels car from my childhood that could only be ordered through some cereal box. A few really old coins. An original Star Wars Royal Guard from the first star wars toys release. As well as a bunch of tarnished junk jewelry, with the exception of one ring that is still untarnished gold mixed in. My guess, is that, that one is real gold since it is untarnished. Who knows, maybe it is worth something. This is from a box that has not been open since 1998. So I doubt anyone would know what it is from. There is also a collectable parker pen. At the time it was worth twenty bucks, which was in the early 90’s from when I lived in Wisconsin. So it will be interesting to see what some of the items I have may be worth.
So all in all it was a great amazing fantastic weekend, and the follow up was full of surprises.
